I got in touch with some of the handful of recruits who visited Washington last Saturday to attend the UW vs. Michigan game. Here are their reactions from this past weekend.

Recruits

2025 Safety Jayden Mayberry (Lone Peak - American Fork, UT) is garnering interest from Washington. He mentioned that the highlight of his visit was witnessing how “loud” Husky Stadium was.

2026 Cornerback Justin Lewis (Rancho Cucamonga - Los Angeles, CA) holds offers from Washington, Miami, Nebraska, and other schools. He called the game the “ultimate college experience,” and said “the scenery, the atmosphere, [and] the intensity of the game” were “top-tier.” He emphasized that head coach Jedd Fish, along with coaches Armond Hawkins and Josh Omura made a “great impression” on him. Lewis will be visiting Nebraska on 11/2 for the Cornhuskers game against UCLA and is also working on scheduling visits to Kansas and Minnesota.

2026 Defensive Lineman Bott Mulitalo (Lone Peak - American Fork, UT) holds an offer from UW and over a dozen other schools, including Oregon, USC, and Nebraska. Mulitalo was impressed by both the atmosphere and the fans. He said that he spoke with many fans who recognized him as a recruit and mentioned that he had not experienced that at any other school yet.

2026 Wide Receiver Terrance Saryon (Evergreen - Vancouver, WA) has offers from at least six schools, including Washington and Oregon. He “loved” the hospitality from Washington and said he always is “treat[ed] like family” when he visits. He also mentioned how fun it was to see the fans storm the field after the win.

2026 Tight End Kai Wesley (Orem - Orem, UT) received a scholarship offer from Washington over the weekend. He was impressed by Husky Stadium’s “electric” atmosphere and said it was “definitely, one of the loudest” stadiums he’s ever been to. He also emphasized that it was “cool” to see Washington tight end Keleki Latu get seven targets, as he sees himself as a similar player with a similar build.

2027 Wide Reciever Will Rasmussen (Orem - Orem, UT) received a scholarship offer from Washington over the weekend. He “loved the gameday atmosphere and how passionate” the fans were at the game. He mentioned how he could tell that the fans “took pride in their ability to affect the opposing team’s offensive drives.” He also emphasized how loud Husky Stadium was and the “electric” energy he felt throughout the entire game. Rasmussen has visited Utah and BYU, and will be visiting Oregon and Texas A&M this season.

2028 Wide Reciever / Tight End Steeler Wesley (Orem - Orem, UT) visited Washington with his older brother, Kai. Steeler loved Husky Stadium and mentioned how fun it was to rush the field after Washington’s win.

Commits

2025 Quarterback Dash Beierly (Mater Dei - Orange, CA) will be graduating early from football powerhouse Mater Dei and said it is “exciting” to see what his “potential future looks like in a couple of months.” He told me it was “great to spend time with the staff and players” and was impressed by the “energy from the fans” at Husky Stadium.

2025 Athlete Jonathan Epperson (Auburn Riverside - Auburn, WA) committed to Washington in June. He enjoyed celebrating Kamren Fabiculanan’s fourth-quarter interception in the fourth quarter with fellow future teammate 2025 cornerback Ramonz Adams.

2025 Edge Victor Sanchez Hernandez (Kamiak - Mukilteo, WA) committed to the Huskies in June. His favorite part of his visit was “how electric the environment was.” He was also impressed by the strength of the UW community.

2025 Running Back Julian McMahan (Monte Vista - Danville, CA) committed to Washington back in March. He told me he enjoyed getting to hang out with other 2025 commits, including Beierly, tight end Vander Ploog, athlete Dylan Robinson, athlete Deji Ajose, cornerback Ramonz Adams, athlete Jonathan Epperson, offensive tackle Zac Stascausky, and athlete Donovan Robinson. McMahan also said he enjoyed “experiencing the atmosphere of Husky Stadium.”

2025 Athlete Donovan Robinson (Loyola Academy - Wilmette, IL) committed to Washington in June. He said he enjoyed being able to experience a full game day at Husky Stadium. He told me that the “atmosphere was great” and that he “loved being able to see the [Washington] coaches again” and learning more on how he will fit in with the Washington football program.
